Steel Grits G-10

Rotocast Steel Grit G-10 is a coarsest listed angular abrasive grade developed for high cutting energy and aggressive profiling. Its angular geometry provides cutting and scraping action against the work surface, helping remove scale, corrosion and surface contamination while generating a controlled profile for downstream coating or finishing operations.

G-10 is suitable for heavy scale removal, robust structural steel preparation and applications requiring a pronounced anchor profile. Actual cleaning rate and profile will vary with abrasive hardness, operating mix, wheel or nozzle velocity, blast angle, exposure time and substrate condition. For consistent production, maintain the working mix and use the TDS sieve distribution as the technical size reference.
